Garden Swap and Sale for 2018 CANCELLED
Join us for a Garden Education Event on Saturday, June 2nd from 10 AM to noon instead.
A very destructive invasive "jumping" earthworm is working its way into the area. At the advice of Cornell Cooperative Extension,we have cancelled the plant portion of the swap and sale for this year, and instead will offer a swap and sale of gardening books and magazines, along with an informative and fun Garden Education Event. Click here for more information!
We cancelled our Garden Swap and Sale because we want to be responsible and avoid even the possibility of spreading the invasive Asian earthworm already in parts of our community. Read more about this destructive invader here.
Join us instead for a Garden Education Event to gather information about topics such as:
- The Asian Earthworm and other invasive species
- Native plants/pollinator gardens
- Basic gardening
- Critters in your garden
- Bee Keeping
You can also ask questions of our Master Gardeners and drop off soil samples to be PH tested at Saratoga County Cooperative Extension ($1.00 fee)
Bring the kids, too! We'll have some fun activities for them while you learn.
