Concierge Used Book Sale Shopping Service, 2020
Since we can’t invite you into our lair, we will shop for you!
All you need to do is complete a shopping list of kind of books you want (we will be a specific as possible, given that we know many FOL Used Book Sale purchases are serendipitous finds).
Prices will be a little different from the regular sale due to the increased effort we have to expend but are still REALLY good deals (large format paperbacks $1, hardbacks $2; kids' books and small format paperbacks are still 50 cents). and you can let us know how much you want to spend all told.
All books chosen for you will be bagged and allowed to quarantine before being made available to you. We will contact you to let you know when your order has been filled. Orders will be assembled and available for pick-up on the second floor of the library on Thursday, December 10, 4-6 PM, Friday, December 11, 2-4 PM, and Saturday, December 12, 12-2 PM, so to allow for quarantining, your orders must be received by December 7.

While we will do our best, we know we aren't perfect, so if the gift isn't quite right, we'll gladly take it in exchange when we do resume our in person sales.
In addition to the books, we have Friends of the Library book bags and canvas totes available. Finally, gift certificates may be purchased for use at our book or plant sales once they resume.
When we know what we've been able to find from your shopping wish list, we will contact you to let you know the total cost. We will prepare an envelope for each sale for your payment. If you need a receipt, you can let us know and we will place one in the envelope for you. We will have gift wrapping available for a donation at pick up times.
