Sale Day Details
Clifton Park and Halfmoon are big gardening communities. We know that because every year our Plant Swap and Sale has gotten bigger and better.
Swap Plants
On the Friday before the first Saturday in June, you are invited to drop off your plants between 1:30 and 4:30 in the Library's Board Room. Or you may drop them off on the sale day, the first Saturday in June, beginning at 9:30 AM under the Library portico. Plants should be properly potted up with tags describing the plant (click here for a downloadable form you can use to label plants or pick some up on the Friends bureau in the lobby of the Library a few months before the sale).  Beginning at 9:30, swappers may take home an equivalent group of plants brought in by others.
Buy Plants
At 10 AM until noon, any plants not taken in swap will be available for purchase by those in the community who don't have such mature gardens. We keep the prices very low (50 cents to three dollars depending on size and rarity of the plant, with a few really special plants slightly higher).
Upcoming Plant Swap and Sale is BARE ROOT ONLY due to invasive Asian Earthworm

Volunteer!
Of course, we also need volunteers to help on the day of the sale, as well as to be members of the planning committee. If you would be interested, contact Susan Cromer, co-chair, for more information.
